If ever a book struggle to see the light of day, this is it. The battle to get it written and published was as real as any spiritual skirmish with the enemy. For this reason alone, its contents are well worth reading.

WHEN YOU PRAY is a collection of teaching and testimony on the power of prayer. Its central theme is that we have a great and mighty God who answers prayer lovingly, dynamically, supernaturally.

When you pray the prayer of faith, you enter the realm of the supernatural.

As you open yourself to the word of God and to what the Spirit wants to do in your life, you will know Jesus not only as your personal Saviour but also as your Healer, Deliverer and all that He has promised to be for you.

Your faith will be strengthened to believe that you can receive healing directly from the hand of the Great Physician. He sent His Word and healed them. (Ps 107:20)

The word of God brings healing to the total man - spirit, soul and body.

Jesus Himself said, "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth" (Act 1:8).

This is the power that will win the world for Jesus Christ. This is the power that will enable struggling Christians to experience the abundant life that Jesus promised.

We are desperately in need of this power but it will only be released to us when we come back to the basics, i.e. earnestly seeking the face of God, fervently praying and patiently waiting upon God for Him to act.

You need not live under a death sentence, go for treatment which you dread, or fear dying. You can overcome all your fears, despair and discouragement. You can receive new hope.

No matter how hard Satan tries to steal, kill and destroy us (Jn 10:10), everything he does can be nullified by Jesus (1 Jn 3:8). What Jesus says is more important than what anyone else has to say because He is God. Jesus can destroy the cancer in your body and give you new life.

You can overcome cancer by the word of God and the power of God.

"Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are." (1 Cor 3:16-17)

God is holy and wants to dwell in a holy temple. But we have become defiled temples that must first be cleansed. As our lives are rid of all filth and rubbish, the Holy God will come and reside not only in our spirit but also in our body.

Read this book prayerfully to know how to cleanse your temple and be able to come into intimacy with God.

Fasting is not optional. Every Christian who wants to move in the purposes of God must know how to fast and pray. Even kings (e.g. Jehoshaphat), queens (e.g. Esther) and rulers (e.g. Daniel) have had to turn to God with fasting and prayer to save nations.

Through fasting and prayer, you will:
- See the impossible become possible
- Break through to victory in every situation
- Destroy Satan's schemes against you, your family, church and nation
- Subdue the flesh and cause your spirit man to rise up
- Be used of God to fulfil His endtime purposes

There are many kings and kingdoms in the world but in the eyes of God, there are only two kingdoms: the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness ruled by Satan.

Jesus prayed, "Thy Kingdom come" and He preached the gospel of the Kingdom, bringing salvation, healing and deliverance everywhere He went. He has handed the same gospel to the church and, as citizens of the Kingdom, we are to manifest its power.

Are we living church life or Kingdom life today? Are we performing Christian duties or are we reaching out to the world and preparing the church for the soon return of our Lord Jesus Christ? This is a good time to refect on what we are doing and to know what we are called to do.

In the Biblical history of revivals, great moves of God occur whenever God's leaders restore true worship and set the priests and the Levites back to their God-given function - ministering to the Lord.

Even though busy in great revival, the leaders of the early church made sure they continued to minister to the Lord. (Acts 6:4)

The only way to live the Christian life is by the Spirit of God. God, the Lord of Hosts Himself has said, "Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit." (Zech 4:6)

Only by the Holy Spirit can we live the life of a son of God, destroying the works of Satan, bringing salvation to the souls of men and advancing the Kingdom of God. Sadly, the church is largely struggling today because we have failed to accord the Holy Spirit the importance rightfully due to Him.

For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. (Rom 8:13-14)

The Greek word for abundantly is "perissos". It has also been defined as: superabundant (in quantity) or superior (in quality); excessive; exceeding abundantly above; advantage; very highly; beyond measure; superfluous; over and above; more than necessary; more than enough; surplus; superadded; supremely; further, more, much more than all; overflowing; more remarkable; more excellent; extraordinary.

Our Lord Jesus Christ said, "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly" (John 10:10b).

He did not offer us just forgiveness of sin; He offered us abundant life. He came to give us His life so that we may have the life of the Son of God.

All our struggles to be good and to be what God created us to be are in vain. We do not have to use our own ideas or efforts to live a life pleasing to God

Just as Abraham believed God and it was accounted to him as righteousness (Gen 15:6), so we too as New Covenant believers have only to believe in Christ and receive what He had done for us at the cross.

Only through New Covenant circumcision of the heart can we live in total obedience to God and experience the fulness of the blessings that Christ came to give us.

A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.....
(see Ezek 36:26-28)

You may be a Christian but have you come into the reality of living life in the Kingdom of God? Whether you like it or not, the reality is that you were born again into a Kingdom at war.

The war we are engaged in is a spiritual one. Our enemy is Satan, an invisible spirit being leading hosts of wicked spirits. He hates us and constantly plots our downfall. The tragedy is that most Christians simply do not understand what it is to war in the spirit.

The powerful testimonies in this book include that of a former Minister of Health of Malaysia and a former consultant surgeon. Through personal deliverance, they understood the reality of spiritual warfare.

There is only one Healer - Jehovah Rapha, the Lord Who heals. He is the only answer to any man's need, not only for healing but also for life.

Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness - by whose stripes you were healed. (1 Peter 2:24, NKJV)

Healing is in the cross. Our Lord Yeshua defeated sin, sickness, death, hell and the devil, for us, at Calvary. If you are a child of God, you can experience the divine presence of God's healing power. It is free of charge and without side effects.

And this is the promise that He hath promised us, even eternal life. (1 John 2:25)

Eternal life is a gift of God to us. No one in this world, no matter how intelligent or influential, rich or powerful, can give us eternal life. Only the eternal God can. Yeshua, the Son of God, died to give it to us.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Rom 6:23)

We were saved to know God and to spend eternity with Him. This is the real Christian life. If we miss it, we miss it all.

He sent His word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. (Psalm 107:20)

If only God's people knew the power of God's word. How differently they would live.

By His word, God created the heavens (Psalm 33:6); by the word of His power, Yeshua upholds all things (Heb 1:3). The word of God is life and spirit (John 6:63) and it is truth that sets us free and sanctifies us (John 8:32;17:17). The word of God is quick, powerful and sharp (Heb 4:12). It has the power to transform lives.

Where do you think God lives? Which is His house?

Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. ( 1 Cor 6:19-20)

God loves you so much that He longs to live in you and make you His holy dwelling place, His house of prayer for all nations. But are you a Christian who enjoys praying and spending time with God? The only place that God will make His house is where prayers are offered.

God wants to take over our lives completely and fulfil His eternal purposes in and through us. Our waiting upon Him allows Him to do just that. When the 120 deciples obeyed Yeshua's command to tarry in Jerusalem, the Holy Spirit came. The greatest revival in all history took place and its effects continue till today.

Waiting upon the Lord brings us into His presence, to be one with Him and to be transformed by His glory.

But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him. (1Cor 6:17)

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. (2 Cor 3:18)

'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' says the LORD of hosts. (Zech 4:6b)

But Jesus (Yeshua) answered him, saying, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.'" (Luke 4:4)

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Heb 4:12)

The word of God, The Bible, is the only truth that can set people free. We can overcome any situation in life when we just believe what God says. God wants His people to live the lifestyle of His kingdom by living according to His word.

For in it (the gospel of Christ) the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith." (Rom 1:17)

Living by faith is simply believing what God says and acting upon it, even though it may seem foolish to others. It is by faith that we are saved and enter into all the promises of God.

That your faith should not be in the wisdom of men ut in the power of God.
(1 Cor 2:5)

That you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises. (Heb 6:12)

Jesus Christ (Yeshua Messiah) is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (Heb13:8)

Yeshua is the only healer and that has never changed. He not only heals us but also saves us and delivers us from our destruction. Healing of the spirit, soul and body is our benefit as children of God.

Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits:
Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases,
Who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies.
Who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's (Psalm 103:2-5)

God has only one way of healing and that is through the cross of Yeshua. Healing from God is free because Yeshua paid for it with His life.

Praise YAHWEH for the revelation that He has given about the harp. It is a real miracle of YAHWEH. It is a miracle because everything from YAHWEH is a miracle. It is received by faith. It is a miracle because it is made by those who have never seen a harp before. It also came as a surprise to all of us who witnessed this great miracle.

As we declare the word of Elohim in song with the harp, we are lifted into His presence to worship Him in the heavenlies, before His throne. It is the strategy by which strongholds in nations are destroyed and the kingdom of darkness severely damaged. Bad situations are turned around. People are set free.

After three years of being involved in worshipping with the harp, I am still in awe at what YAHWEH is doing. After all, He is the Creator and Maker of the whole universe, including every one of us. He just has to speak and it is done.

"Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,'says the LORD [YAHWEH] of Hosts."(Zech 4:6b)

It is really a long, exciting story. Firstly, because I myself never even dreamt or thought of having a harp, let alone handle it, play it and be a part pf what YAHWEH is doing to enable us to produce harps for the body of Messiah. Truly, we have been blessed to bless the nations with worship of our great and mighty Elohim, singing only His word, using only His chosen instrument.

I pray that as you read this book, you too will receive the revelation and experience YAHWEH as you had never experienced Him before. May you be transformed by His glory.

Our amazing YAHWEH be forever praised, worshipped and adored.
