If ever a book struggle to see the light of day, this is it. The battle to get it written and published was as real as any spiritual skirmish with the enemy. For this reason alone, its contents are well worth reading.

We are desperately in need of this power but it will only be released to us when we come back to the basics, i.e. earnestly seeking the face of God, fervently praying and patiently waiting upon God for Him to act.

You need not live under a death sentence, go for treatment which you dread, or fear dying. You can overcome all your fears, despair and discouragement. You can receive new hope.

No matter how hard Satan tries to steal, kill and destroy us (Jn 10:10), everything he does can be nullified by Jesus (1 Jn 3:8). What Jesus says is more important than what anyone else has to say because He is God. Jesus can destroy the cancer in your body and give you new life.

You can overcome cancer by the word of God and the power of God.

"Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are." (1 Cor 3:16-17)

God is holy and wants to dwell in a holy temple. But we have become defiled temples that must first be cleansed. As our lives are rid of all filth and rubbish, the Holy God will come and reside not only in our spirit but also in our body.

Are we living church life or Kingdom life today? Are we performing Christian duties or are we reaching out to the world and preparing the church for the soon return of our Lord Jesus Christ? This is a good time to refect on what we are doing and to know what we are called to do.

In the Biblical history of revivals, great moves of God occur whenever God's leaders restore true worship and set the priests and the Levites back to their God-given function - ministering to the Lord.

Even though busy in great revival, the leaders of the early church made sure they continued to minister to the Lord. (Acts 6:4)

The only way to live the Christian life is by the Spirit of God. God, the Lord of Hosts Himself has said, "Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit." (Zech 4:6)

Only by the Holy Spirit can we live the life of a son of God, destroying the works of Satan, bringing salvation to the souls of men and advancing the Kingdom of God. Sadly, the church is largely struggling today because we have failed to accord the Holy Spirit the importance rightfully due to Him.

For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. (Rom 8:13-14)

The Greek word for abundantly is "perissos". It has also been defined as: superabundant (in quantity) or superior (in quality); excessive; exceeding abundantly above; advantage; very highly; beyond measure; superfluous; over and above; more than necessary; more than enough; surplus; superadded; supremely; further, more, much more than all; overflowing; more remarkable; more excellent; extraordinary.

Our Lord Jesus Christ said, "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly" (John 10:10b).

He did not offer us just forgiveness of sin; He offered us abundant life. He came to give us His life so that we may have the life of the Son of God.

All our struggles to be good and to be what God created us to be are in vain. We do not have to use our own ideas or efforts to live a life pleasing to God

Just as Abraham believed God and it was accounted to him as righteousness (Gen 15:6), so we too as New Covenant believers have only to believe in Christ and receive what He had done for us at the cross.

Only through New Covenant circumcision of the heart can we live in total obedience to God and experience the fulness of the blessings that Christ came to give us.

A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.....
(see Ezek 36:26-28)

You may be a Christian but have you come into the reality of living life in the Kingdom of God? Whether you like it or not, the reality is that you were born again into a Kingdom at war.

The war we are engaged in is a spiritual one. Our enemy is Satan, an invisible spirit being leading hosts of wicked spirits. He hates us and constantly plots our downfall. The tragedy is that most Christians simply do not understand what it is to war in the spirit.

The powerful testimonies in this book include that of a former Minister of Health of Malaysia and a former consultant surgeon. Through personal deliverance, they understood the reality of spiritual warfare.

There is only one Healer - Jehovah Rapha, the Lord Who heals. He is the only answer to any man's need, not only for healing but also for life.

Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness - by whose stripes you were healed. (1 Peter 2:24, NKJV)

Healing is in the cross. Our Lord Yeshua defeated sin, sickness, death, hell and the devil, for us, at Calvary. If you are a child of God, you can experience the divine presence of God's healing power. It is free of charge and without side effects.

And this is the promise that He hath promised us, even eternal life. (1 John 2:25)

Eternal life is a gift of God to us. No one in this world, no matter how intelligent or influential, rich or powerful, can give us eternal life. Only the eternal God can. Yeshua, the Son of God, died to give it to us.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Rom 6:23)

We were saved to know God and to spend eternity with Him. This is the real Christian life. If we miss it, we miss it all.

He sent His word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. (Psalm 107:20)

If only God's people knew the power of God's word. How differently they would live.

By His word, God created the heavens (Psalm 33:6); by the word of His power, Yeshua upholds all things (Heb 1:3). The word of God is life and spirit (John 6:63) and it is truth that sets us free and sanctifies us (John 8:32;17:17). The word of God is quick, powerful and sharp (Heb 4:12). It has the power to transform lives.

Where do you think God lives? Which is His house?

Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. ( 1 Cor 6:19-20)

God loves you so much that He longs to live in you and make you His holy dwelling place, His house of prayer for all nations. But are you a Christian who enjoys praying and spending time with God? The only place that God will make His house is where prayers are offered.
